The Icom IC-A120E is the ideal device for vehicular installation on ground vehicles or as a fixed base station for airport use.

The IC-A120E is a compact, waterproof device with an IP54 protection rating and extremely robust. The dot matrix LCD display with amber backlight allows for high visibility and clear, well-defined reading of alphanumeric characters and icons.

The combined use of the directional keys and the function keys, all backlit, guarantees simple and immediate use of the device.
Among the main features we point out the ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) function which allows you to digitally remove background noise both in reception and transmission and the ANL (Auto Noise Limiter) function which allows you to reduce the impulse-type noise generated by the ignition of the engines.
The two functions cannot be used at the same time.

The Side Tone function allows you to monitor your voice through the headphones connected to the device, even when using the handheld microphone.
The IC-A120E also features dual watch that alternately monitors the priority and working channels, and ON-Hook scan that automatically activates scanning when the microphone is hooked to its holder. When the microphone is unhooked, scanning stops on the priority channel or the displayed channel (as programmed).

By pairing the optional UT-133A Bluetooth® unit with the IC-A120E, you can use Bluetooth® headphones.

When using the ICOM VS-3 Bluetooth® headset, the side tone function is also available.
