With features such as full down conversion and narrow band roofing filter, local oscillator for high C/N and H-mode mixer, the TS-890S transceiver surpasses the basic receive performance of its class. Blocking Dynamic Range 150 dB, Recyprocal Mixing Dynamic Range 112 dB, Third Order Dynamic Range IM 110 dB. These are impressive numbers (2 kHz spacing, 14.1 MHz, 500 Hz CW, pre OFF).
4 integrated Roofing Filters: 500 Hz, 2.7 kHz, 6 kHz, 15 kHz (optional 270 Hz).
The 7” TFT colour display is the same size as the flagship TS-990, to display all kinds of information, allowing for fast and precise use, but with visibly improved resolution and speed.
This is the first KENWOOD model to support the 4m band.
