Anytone AT-D878UVIIPLUS is a compact and resistant IP54 handheld portable radio digital DMR VHF and UHF (compatible with MOTOTRBO Tier 1 and 2), which also supports the traditional ANALOG FM.

Like the previous 878 PLUS, the new D878UVII PLUS offers a real possibility to operate in VFO and to add channels and memorize their characteristics also without the use of a PC.

Indeed, a radio operator can set a frequency and transmit the parameters as usual, instead of only accessing pre-programmed memory channels.

The Anytone AT-D878UVII PLUS is also equipped with memory channels, 4000 per accuracy. The storable Talk-Groups have been expanded, now 10,000 and 500,000 storable contacts in the address book.

A further difference with other DMR devices is the ability to edit most (not all) parameters on the device. So you don't have to rely on computer programming for every little change. However, the settings for all parameters (e.g. DMR ID) are only possible with a corresponding PC software (free).

The feature set of the AT-D878UVII PLUS is very broad. 4000 different channels can be stored (digital and analogue, mixed operations also possible); 10000 conversation groups are configurable and the memory can hold up to 500,000 contacts . In analog operation, functions such as DTMF, CTCSS are supported and DCS, as well as coding with two-tone and five-tone signals. It's available even a burst of tones of 1750 Hz. Five buttons on the radio can be Individually assigned with functions, so that each user can adjust the radio according to your personal preferences. The large 1.77 color display “It can be illuminated with different degrees of brightness and is easy to read even in sunlight. To save energy, the display turns off after a period of adjustable time.

Another feature worth highlighting is the option to store multiple DMR IDs. So it would be conceivable to use the device in both an environment professional company, and in the amateur radio sector with another ID for the band amateur radio.

The transmit power can be set in 4 levels from a minimum of one at 6 watts (VHF) or 7 watts (UHF). The headphone/microphone jack is compatible with Kenwood or Wouxun. The antenna connection is a male SMA connector (reverse), so you can use optional antennas of any brand provided they are equipped with an SMA FEMALE connector.
