Yaesu FTM510DE

The Yaesu FTM-510DE ASP is a dual-band C4FM digital/FM mobile radio operating on the 144/430 MHz frequencies, with a transmit power of 55W (VHF) and 50W (UHF). This model represents an evolution of the FTM-500DE, offering superior reception quality and greater ease of use thanks to new features.

One of the most interesting innovations is the Super DX function, which can be used in both digital C4FM and analog FM modes. This function increases the sensitivity of the RF amplifier, thus improving the reception of weak signals.

In addition, the radio is equipped with ASP (Audio Digital Signal Processor), which can be activated in analogue FM mode. This digital signal processor filters out noise in FM signals, ensuring clearer audio. ASP AUTO mode is automatically activated when weak signals are detected.

The FTM-510DE ASP is ideal for DX operations, mobile applications and stationary use, especially in areas with poor signal reception. The PMG (Primary Memory Group) and MAG (Memory Auto Grouping) functions have been improved for more intuitive frequency management. Up to five VFO or memory channels can be monitored simultaneously, with the received signals displayed and distinguished by color.

Another notable feature is the MAG system's new “My Group (M-GRP)” function, which allows you to flexibly select memory channels regardless of the frequency band.

Compared to the FTM-500DE, the FTM-510DE ASP features the following improvements:
