NAV Waypoint ScreenThe simplified NAV waypoint guides you to a destination using current location information from GPS (also GLONASS and SBAS). Waypoint NAV has two functions: Direct-To NAV and Flight Plan NAV. In direct NAV, the IC-A25N drives directly to a specified waypoint. In the NAV flight plan, the transceiver guides you to a sequential series of waypoints. Up to 10 flight plans and 300 waypoints can be stored in the IC-A25N. Location information imported from an Android/iOS* device can be used as waypoints.

© 2017 GoogleUsing the RS-AERO1A (Android) or the RS-AERO1I application (iOS), you can make flight plans on an Android / iOS device and import the plan into IC -A25N via Bluetooth. The following functions are available:
1. Create a flight plan
You can make flight plans on an Android/iOS device using pre-programmed waypoints.
2. Setting direct NAV on the fly
You can select a point on the map and export it to IC-A25N for direct NAV.
3. View flight plan information
You can view a flight plan in the IC-A25N on an Android/iOS device.
4. View waypoint information
Pre-programmed waypoints can be exported to an Android/iOS device and plotted on a map application.

VOR navigation functions (for IC-A25NE)

VOR ScreenThe CDI (Course Deviation Indicator) is as detailed as a real VOR instrument and shows any deviation from the course.
OBS (Omni Bearing Selector) allows you to change course from the original flight plan.
The TO-FROM indicator shows the position relationship between the aircraft and the course selected by the OSS.
The ABSS (Automatic Bearing Set System) feature allows you to set the current course as a new course in two simple steps.

Search Function ScreenThe local station search function helps you access nearby ground stations. The function searches for nearby stations using station memories that have GPS position information. To use the local station search function, you must program the position data and frequencies of the ground stations.
