New Air-Band Handheld Transceiver with 2.4-inch TFT Full-Color Display

We are pleased to present the new FTA-850L portable transceiver – Air band. The new FTA-850L is a transceiver

complete laptop with the precious color LCD. The FTA-850L transmits and receives on the aeronautical communication band

international ("COM" band; 118 to 136.975 MHz) and also provides VOR and ILS navigation on the band

"NAV" (108 to 117.975 MHz).

The basic and advanced features of the new FTA-850L are:

- TX output power 6W (air band: AM 6W, PEP type, 1.8W carrier)

- Huge 2.4 inch TFT color display (240 x 320 pixels)

- Water protection - IPX5 rating

- Rugged construction: MIL-STD-810H certified

- High volume audio output (800mW)

- Dual Frequency Display (DD): Two channels are displayed at the top and bottom of the screen

- Bluetooth® operation with commercially available Bluetooth headset or SSM-BT10 . optional YAESU

- ILS navigation (Locator and Glide Slope)

- VOR navigation

- Flight route display and navigation with a highly integrated GPS unit sensitive

- GPS location recording operation available*

- Intuitive menu screen with icon display

- Compatible with 8.33kHz narrowband

- Reception from the NOAA weather channel**

- NOAA weather alert**

- 400 Memory Channels with 14 alphanumeric characters

- Backlit keyboard and display with dimmer

- Noise cancellation function for both transmission and reception of the audio
