PST2-4080C

Small-sized dual-band wire antenna, designed to be installed in confined spaces. Full size elements on 40m, with coverage of almost the entire band. The loading coils allow use in 80m albeit in a fairly narrow slice of around 30KHz. For optimal operation, it is recommended to mount it at least 5-6m from the ground with an inverted V, with an opening of approximately 100-110 degrees. The antenna is pre-calibrated to operate in the center of both bands, like all dipoles it is affected by environmental conditions so it may be necessary to seek the best operating point with several attempts. The center dipole also includes the 1:1 ferrite balun.
