You can record and play back five natural-sounding messages in a total of 75 seconds. EEPROM technology keeps messages archived for up to 100 years - no need for battery backup.

You can repeat messages continuously and vary the repeat delay from 3 to 500 seconds. It makes a great voice signal and calling CQ is so easy. An audio receive jack allows you to record and playback signals off-the-air - a big help if you didn't get it right the first time! No more "Please repeat."

A playing message can be stopped by pressing the Stop button, the PTT microphone button or the VOX PTT line. A ground lock via remote control or computer also interrupts the messages.

It has jack for remote or computer control (using CT, NA, TR or other program and its interface). Allows you to select, play and delete messages.

The MFJ-434B is microphone transparent: the audio characteristics of the microphone do not change when the MFJ-434B is installed. Dual controls make it easy to customize the audio level to suit your voice.

All audio lines are RF filtered to eliminate RFI, audio feedback and distortion. An audio isolation transformer totally eliminates hum and distortion caused by ground loops.

It's easy to use: just connect the 8-pin microphone cable and connect the MFJ-434B's shielded cable to the transceiver's microphone connector. Internal jumpers allow you to customize it to Kenwood, Icom, Yaesu, Alinco or Radio Shack platforms. Use your station or built-in microphone for recording.

The built-in speaker amplifier allows you to monitor stored messages. 3.5mm speaker/headphone socket. SMT technology.

Use a 9 volt, 9-15 VDC or 110 VAC battery with the optional MFJ-1312D.
