Magnetic sheet for optimizing the ground plane of antennas on car bodywork

To work mobile in HF you need a reliable ground plane. Which is difficult when using a small or insufficient magnetic base.
The problem can be solved with Diamond's new magnetic carpet. Simply place the mat on a flat surface in your car and connect the included loop wire to the antenna's ground base. Thanks to the superior capacitive coupling between the magnetic material and the chassis, the conduction resistance in HF is significantly reduced. When operating on 3.5 MHz two of these mats are recommended. In 50 MHz, the connection cable must be as short as possible (less than 20 cm).
