The Uniden UBCD-160DN sets a new standard for performance, functionality and innovation in the world of handheld scanners, it is pre-programmed to receive dPMR, DMR and NXDN digital signals, so you can use it right out of the box.

The dPMR functionality allows increments of 2.5 kHz and 3.125 kHz.

Frequency range:

25 - 512 MHz, 758 - 824 MHz, 849 - 869 MHz and 894 - 960 MHz

Three numeric keys can be assigned to initiate a range scan, weather scan, tone scan, service scan, or to display the 'Band Scope' mode.
10 Storage Banks: Up to 100 frequencies can be stored in each bank, for a total of 1,000 frequencies, making it easy to identify calls.
10 Custom Searches: Allows you to program up to 10 custom search intervals.
Adjustable scan, delay and search resume: Set a delay of up to 30 seconds or a forced resume of up to 10 seconds (per channel or search).
Attenuator: You can set the scanner attenuator to reduce the signal strength of strong signals by approximately 20 dB per channel or search band.
Band Scope Mode: Band Scope mode is a search mode where the scanner searches the frequency range and displays the signal level in real time.
Built-in battery charger: Allows you to charge the scanner's batteries with a timer function and a USB connection cable (included).
Configurable Band Standards: Allows you to set the step (2.5, 5, 6.25, 7.5, 8.33, 10, 12.5, 15, 20, 25, 50 or 100 kHz) and modulation (AM, FM, NFM, WFM or FMB) for 30 different bands.✓ CTCSS/DCS - Digital Code Decoding: Decodes and displays transmitted continuous tone squelch system tones and plays back the received Digital Coded Squelch code, DMR color code, NXDN area and NXDN RAN code.
CTCSS/DCS - Digital Code Search : Allows you to search for CTCSS, DCS, DMR Color Code, NXDN Area or NXDN RAN code when an active frequency is found in search modes.
DMR and NXDN support: These functions are pre-programmed, this allows you to receive transmissions with these decoding protocols.
LCD Backlight: Makes the LCD display easily visible in low light conditions with three brightness levels.

Priority Plus Scanning: Priority channels let you monitor activity on your most important channels while checking broadcasts on other channels, and you can scan only priority channels with the Priority Plus feature.
Quick Search : Allows you to search from the currently tuned frequency or channel or enter a frequency and start searching. Rotate the scroll knob to change the search direction.
1000 Channels with Alpha Tagging: With Alpha Tagging, you can assign names to your channels so you can easily keep track of who is listening to you. Organize your channels by department,
location, area of interest, or however you prefer, up to 16 characters per label.
Turbo Search Function: Automatically increases the search frequency from 100 to 300 steps per second for bands with 5 kHz steps.
