Ref: ICM423G
BookableIC-M423G Icom – Fixed marine transceiver in VHF band with GNSS receiver, DSC in class D and remote station possibility
The IC-M423G transceiver features a built-in GPS receiver, a white-background LCD, new laser-cut keys on an illuminated white background, and a new palm microphone. Innovative features built into the device include an always-on noise-canceller, DSC functionality, and the ability to manage a second remote station with the Commandmic™.
Intuitive user interface
The ICOM user interface is used in many marine devices and offers very intuitive operation. The display and the four navigation keys offer quick and easy access to the desired functions. The contrasting white background of the finely crafted buttons perfectly complements the design.
Active background noise cancellation
The built-in noise cancellation function is active both when sending and receiving messages and is capable of canceling background noise up to 90%. This increases the audio quality making the transmission better.
Built-in GPS receiver
The built-in GPS receiver shows the last position and time which can also be used to make DSC calls.
Integrated DSC Class D
The built-in DSC control function monitors activity on channel 70 (DSC channel) even when receiving on another channel. DSC functions include: Distress, Individual, Group, All Ships, Position Request/Send, DSC Test Calls.
Optional Commandmic™ HM195GB
With the Commandmic™ HM-195GB you can operate the IC-M423G remotely and use all its functions. In addition, both devices can be used as an Intercom. When combined with the IC-M423G, the HM-195GB has the same display and button backlighting.
10W audio power, Megaphone and fog horn functions
The IC-M423G has a 10 Watt amplifier that amplifies the audio signal to external speakers. With the Megaphone function, you can then use the microphone to send clear and loud communications to the crew and to other vessels. It is also possible to emit fog horn signals.
Standard NMEA interface
When connected to an external GPS receiver, the current position and time are displayed on the IC-M423G display. Position data from other vessels is transmitted via the IC-M423G's NMEA0183 connection to external navigation devices.
Call AIS destinations with MA-500TR
It is an optional Class B AIS transponder that allows individual DSC calls to other AIS equipped vessels, without having to manually enter the MMSI code.
