Precise audio adjustment for your hearing
The bhi ParaPro EQ20B Amplified Audio Unit with Parametric Equalization allows you to customize the sound of the received audio and control which frequencies you want to boost or cut based on your hearing!

Mono or stereo inputs
You can connect one or two mono inputs to the CH1 and CH2 input jacks, or a stereo signal from an SDR radio, shortwave receiver, MP3 player, etc. via the stereo input jack.

Choice of outputs and connections
Connect a single 4/8 ohm passive speaker or a pair of passive speakers to the left and right "Speaker Outputs" using the supplied banana plugs or 3.5mm plug-to-phono adapters. Use the "Source Select" button on the front panel to select the desired audio. Note: Powered speakers can be used with one of our LLC-1 Line Level Converter boxes which have audio isolation transformers inside to protect the class D amplifier stage on the EQ20B unit .

Easy-to-use audio controls
The EQ20B is housed in a quality compact ABS case. There are controls for Power/Volume along with two parametric equalizer channels labeled Bass and Treble, with the Bass center frequency adjustable from 100Hz to 1kHz and the Treble covering from 1kHz to 10kHz. Used together, these controls provide two bands of ±10 dB adjustment from 100 Hz to 10 kHz.

Parametric equalization
Unlike standard tone control, graphic equalization, and preset EQ settings, a parametric equalizer allows you to select the precise frequency you want to adjust. This allows you to raise or lower the selected frequency, giving you much greater flexibility and precision in setting the audio to suit your hearing. This is especially useful for people with hearing problems.

Bluetooth connectivity The
Built-in Bluetooth connectivity on the input effectively transforms the EQ20B into a Bluetooth speaker, allowing audio playback through the unit from a Bluetooth audio source such as an MP3 player or Bluetooth-enabled radio.

For use with your existing bhi DSP noise canceling unit
The ParaPro EQ20B unit is ideal for use with bhi Dual In-Line , Compact In-Line and NEIM1031MKII DSP noise canceling units , allowing you to optimize processed audio for greater clarity and intelligibility. It can also be used with the bhi DESKTOP and DSPKR DSP noise canceling speakers via the headphone jack on the front.
