Problems with local QRM on shortwave? Very often the answer to this question is clearly a 'YES'. Those who live in areas rural know how 'clean' frequencies can be - except perhaps the nearby high power ground line makes noise. However, the majority is interference from local electronic sources, such as TVs, computers, bad connections. With this new accessory you can get rid of local interference up to an S9 level almost entirely, the result is a QRG clean! It is not necessary to know what type of interference is present has knowledge about the location of the interference. It doesn't matter if the interference comes from a welder's own Packet station from 100 meters away. The QRM Eliminator is inserted into the feed line from the trx to the antenna with no additional modifications required for the radio. The box has a built-in PTT Eliminator All control which allows the broadcast that falls on to remain in contact. An additional auxiliary receiving antenna is required, although like a 2m antenna or simply a couple of meters of wire in the shed. The unwanted signal received resulting in both antennas and in different phases. The QRM Eliminator now allows you to adjust the phase angle and amplification so as to cancel the unwanted signal before it reaches the front end of the receiver! It is based on a totally innovative concept and cannot be compared to normal 'noise blanker' performance.
