The E-Coder It has a VFO optical sensor that produces 200 pulses per revolution .

In the panel menu, you can view the settings of the E-Coder control panel. In the Device drop-down menu, you can select the type of control panel connected. In the meantime, only one is available type: E-Coder. Note! If an E-Coder panel is connected to the transceiver, the Panel menu an E-Coder 1 tab appears, if there are multiple E-Coder panels connected to the transceiver, several tabs appear in the Panel menu E-Coder 1, E-Coder 2 etc. With identical settings for each panel.

Zoom forward / backward - switching spectrum zoom modes

VFO / RX2:

A>B - assigns frequency from heterodyne VFO A to VFO B heterodyne
B>A - assign frequency from VFO B heterodyne to VFO A heterodyne
B <> A - frequency swap between VFO A and VFO B
Change VFO A / VFO B - switches between VFO A and VFO B
IF as RIT - adjust the RIT offset by moving the filter across the panorama
BLOCK - locks frequency tuning
RX2 On / Off - enable / disable RX2
RIT On / Off - enable / disable RIT offset
RIT Reset: Resets the offset RIT at 0
Sub RX On/Off - enable/disable SubRX
Divide: enable/disable Split mode
Change DDS /IF: Tunes the frequency by moving the filter across the panorama, in other words changing the digital IF or when the filter stops and the spectrum shifts, this is the tuning of the center frequency
Switches Receiver - switching between RX1 and RX2 software. The main knob will tune the frequency of one of the receivers
XIT On / Off - enable / disable XIT offset
XIT Restore - restore the XIT offset to 0

While using RX1 and RX2, it is generally necessary listen to just one of them or both, but on different channels (left/right). To do this we have added special functions to the E-Coder panel, which sets the mixer for both RXs

Audio:

Listen both RX1, RX2 - default settings, both RXs have the same volume in both channels
Listen to RX1 only: Listen to RX1 in both channels
Listen to RX2 only: Listen to RX2 in both channels
Listen to RX1 in the left channel, RX2 in the right channel - listen to RX1 in the left channel and RX2 in the right channel
Listen RX1 in right channel, RX2 in left channel - listen to RX1 in right channel and RX2 in the left channel

Similar settings have been added for i VFO:

Listen to both VFO A/B - settings By default, both VFOs have the same volume in both channels
Listen VFO A only - listen to VFO A on both channels
Listen VFO B only: Listen to VFO B on both channels
Listen VFO A in the left channel, VFO B in the right - listen to VFO A in the left channel and VFO B in the right channel
Listen to VFO A in the channel right, VFO B in the left channel - listen to VFO A in the right channel and the VFO B in the left channel
Mute: Turn off the sound
Change RX and mute previous - change the receiver software and mute the audio previous
TX / Play - switches to TX and plays the signal recorded in the air
Voice Recording: Enable / disable voice recording
Volume up/down - volume adjustment

DSP:

ANF - enable/disable automatic notch filter
APF - enable/disable analog pick filter
BIN - enable/disable binaural mode
NR - enable / disables noise reduction
NB1 - enable / disable noise blanker 1
NB2 - enable / disable the noise blanker 2
SQL: enable/disable squelch

The following functions can be assigned to the E-Coder panel knobs:

Not used: the encoder is not used
Volume - adjustment of the volume
Microphone Gain - Adjusting the microphone gain
SQL: Threshold adjustment of squelch
Low/High Filter: Tune the frequency of the front of the low/high filter
Length filter - filter width adjustment
Filter Shift: shifts the center frequency of the filter
Drive: regulation of the output power
IF - tuning of the frequency by moving the filter on the panorama
I earn RF - RF gain control
