Technical specifications

Status Quad antennas for 6 mt and Vhf, are always made with the same attention to detail, like the HF models. We have looked for solutions that make the antenna mechanically reliable and easy to assemble.

Boom details

The connecting plate is entirely made of aluminum cut and drilled with numerically controlled machines. Boom housing dug into the plate to avoid any movement. Aluminum U-bolts to tighten must from 40 to 65 mm. Boom made of aluminum square profile 50x50 thickness 2 mm.

Antenna elements

The elements are made with 10 mm diameter fibreglass rods, the conductor is connected to the elements via nocks made to the Status Quad design and project.

Antenna loop

The antenna loops are made of 2.57mm diameter aluminum braid.

Differences between "Standard" and "L" series quads

The differences between the two series of quads are:

- boom/mast connection plate

- braid connection to the GRP rods that form the diagonals of the individual elements
