Yaesu G-5500 provides azimuth and elevation control of medium to large unidirectional satellite antenna arrays under remote control from the station's operating location.

The rotators can be mounted together on a mast, or independently with the azimuth rotator inside a tower or rotor cage and the elevation rotator on the boom.

If you're just getting started with satellite, the G-5500DC offers a full Azimuth (450º) -Elevation (180º) rotation system, ideal for most amateur applications; The dual controller allows you to track all aspects of your antenna system placement.

The G-5500DC also includes an interface jack for computer control, supported by an external control jack (DIN connector) provided on the back of the controller for interfacing via DA converters into an external microcomputer or other displays/controllers, such as the optional computer-controlled GS-232A as well as many aftermarket control programs and interfaces.

All Yaesu rotors are housed in waterproof, stamped aluminum, permanently lubricated enclosures to provide years of quiet operation. Yaesu rotors feature a quiet and reliable reduction gear braking system.
