RigExpert TI-5000 is a new and powerful USB based transceiver interface on high quality stereo codec, for operation of RTX, in CW and modes digital via personal computers.
All into one through a single USB port.
Wide choice of pre-assembled cables for the TI-5000 to connect it to your transceiver favorite. Or build a cable yourself, using the diagrams published on the RigExpert site.
Or use the cable that you already have. The connector ensures backward compatibility with the cables of the RigExpert interfaces already on the market.
There TI-5000 provides:
Interface transceiver audio
The interface Analog audio is a connection to the audio output of the transceiver (external speaker connector or line out) and audio input of transceiver (microphone or line input connector). The interface audio allows you to use digital modes, record and playback the voice, as well as other useful functions (such as measuring levels of an on air signal) using the computer. The entrances (two channels) and the output volume levels are adjusted by potentiometers on the front panel of the device.
Interface CAT for various transceiver models
The CAT (Computer Aided Transceiver) system provides frequency control of the transceiver, operating mode and other functions via software. Normally, modern transceivers have a serial connection (with various signal levels) which provides the CAT interface. In RigExpert TI-5000, the interface port CAT is recognized as a COM port by computer software.
FSK output
FSK (Frequency Shift Keying) is a popular method of transmitting messages digital radios mainly used in radiotype mode (RTTY). There Most transceivers provide modulator functionality FSK to make RTTY signal stable and clear. When using RigExpert TI-5000 A separate COM port is assigned for FSK output.
Output functions PTT and CW
. In RigExpert TI-5000, the PTT and CW outputs are assigned to the RTS and DTR lines of a separate COM port.
