Blade

The Blade is probably the ultimate straight key. Based on a “Swedish Pump” design, which is renowned for effortless keying, the Blade key goes far beyond typical keys with this mechanism in finish and visual appearance. The gold plated components provide a stunning visual contrast to the heavy cast iron base, which gives this key an unyielding presence on your table.  The Navy-style knob rides low above the table and is perfectly positioned for European or American style keying.

The return force is created by a blade spring that is attached to the lever, making it finely adjustable and completely consistent over long time periods.  That blade spring also provides a frictionless way to hold the lever in place.
